Departure package
The objective of our Departure Package is to provide professional support and help to the transferee and his family to move smoothly and efficiently from the old location and to focus on the new job.
This package includes the following services :
- Cancellation of the rental and lease agreements and negotiation of breach terms and conditions by our in-house legal advisers.
- Pre-inspection of the property with suggestions and an estimation of costs concerning necessary cleaning, repairs, painting and garden maintenance in order to safeguard most of the security deposit at the exit inventory inspection.
- Organization of cleaning, repairs, painting and garden maintenance if needed.
- Removals management.
- Temporary accommodation booking in departure location.
- Furniture rental management.
- Hire car booking.
- Arrange for exit inventory inspection with the landlord and the transferee by a mutually agreed independent expert (expert cost directly invoiced to transferee or employer according to the corporate policy).
- Attend the exit inventory inspection and defend the transferee’s interests.
- Arrange for utility disconnection or transfer and apply for reimbursements if possible.
- Closure of bank accounts and cancellation of any other contracts (i.e. insurance policies, school, alarm, garden maintenance,…) and apply for reimbursements if possible.
- De-registration at local authority.
- Exchange the driving license if possible.
- Return of car registration plates.
- Assistance with release of security deposit.
- Assistance with mail forwarding.
